Concentric Security offers Intelli-Field, a terrain-following, volumetric electrostatic field sensor. An intruder is detected when the electrostatic field that is created between field and sense wires is disturbed. The wires do not need to be touched to disturb the field. The wires can be mounted on freestanding poles, walls, roofs, fences and other structures to provide a high, narrow field of detection.

Intelli-Field is a microprocessor-based version of an electrostatic field sensor. By using digital signal processing and adaptive sensing algorithms, Intelli-Field automatically adjusts its signal output and calibration for the optimum real time operating conditions of the sensor. The Intelli-Field processor operates in complete isolation of an electrical ground reference and uses a much lower voltage for the field generating circuit that reduces the criticality of all the field electrical components. Intelli-Field is able to maintain detection and eliminate the effects of the environment over an extremely wide range of operating conditions.
